Adding Charts and Tables

Charts and tables can provide an effective way to display data and organizational information in your slide show. 

Insert a Chart Or Table

  • The Chart and Table icons can be found on the Standard toolbar, or in the Text and Contents Slide Layout, as illustrated to the right.

  • To add a chart Click on the Chart icon.  A datasheet, basically a miniature Excel spreadsheet will appear, providing you a way to create your data for the chart display.  See the illustration below.

  • To add a table, click on the Table icon.  The Insert Table dialog box will appear, and allow you to add a table just the size you need. See the illustration at the lower right.
